05/22/2013 - Announcing the BAR-Y Alumni Program!
All former FFA / 4-H members are eligible to be part of an exciting new BAR-Y program!  Your annual membership dues will be combined with those from other Alumni.  The money will then be presented to deserving students to use towards an animal project, by your group, during the annual BAR-Y Stock Show Kick-Off Dance held the second Saturday in January.   Click here to learn more and download the application.

Our Story

The Backing Ag Raising Youth (BAR-Y) organization was a vision for many years, and in January of 2011, it became a reality.  A small group of families came together and distributed $3,000 among 70 Guadalupe County Youth Show exhibitors.  This contribution initiated the commitment that our organization maintains today.
